Concepts in this area deal with who God is, His love and care for everyone and the response of love that each person should give to God. This is developed in a sequentially planned program. The study of the Old Testament and the Liturgical Year calendar provides a framework where Mary, the Angels, the Saints, the Life of Christ, and the feasts commemorating these events can be studied and celebrated.

The children also learn the meaning and symbolism of the Sacred Vessels and Vestments used at Mass.
