Katherine Marotta

Katherine Marotta holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Miami University and a master’s degree in reading from Middle Tennessee State University. She taught first grade at Shakerag Elementary School in Duluth, Ga., where she received the “Recognition of Excellence” award this winter and created a math curriculum for the school. Katie was 2011 Teacher of the Year.

Georgina Saxon
Georgina Saxon holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from the University of Memphis. She has been at Overbrook for 15 years and teaching for 22 years. She was named teacher of the year in 2005 and has been featured in Who’s Who Among Teachers. She is an Overbrook alumna and the mother of two Overbrook graduates and one current Overbrook student.
