Sr. Christiana, O.P.
Sr. Christiana, O.P., was a founding faculty member of St. Catherine of Siena School in Kennesaw, Ga., where she spent two years teaching fourth grade and a semester teaching first grade. While teaching fourth grade there, she discovered her call to be a Dominican Sister. Sister teaches fourth and fifth grades at Overbrook.

Sr. Christiana, who attended Catholic school herself from grades K-12 in the Diocese of Atlanta, holds a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from the University of Georgia and has done some post-graduate work at Kennesaw University.

Mary Ann Meeks
Mary Ann Meeks holds a bachelor’s degree in English and French from Manhattanville College. She has done post-graduate course work at University of Tennessee, Tennessee State University and Trevecca College. She is listed in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers 2005. She is an Overbrook alumna.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I went to school in the White House through fifth grade. We got a lot of pictures taken on the front porch and we all participated in a May Day performance wearing costumes our parents made.
