Overbrook School is a member of the Nashville Consortium of Independent Schools, which includes:
Overbrook joins with these schools in administering the Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE). This allows a student to apply to several schools and take only one test. All fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth graders wishing to apply to Overbrook must take the ISEE.
ISEE is a secure, standardized test which contains two ability sections — verbal and quantitative — two achievement sections, reading comprehension, mathematics achievement, and an essay question for seventh and eighth graders.
