Cub Scouts

Cub Scouts is for boys in grades 1-5. Cub Scouts teaches values and skills that will last a lifetime. Each grade forms a den that has meetings twice a month. Most meetings are held at Overbrook School or the Overbrook Dining Hall. Cub Scouts at Overbrook will go camping twice a year, learn new skills, explore nature, learn about their community and make lasting friendships.

Daisy Girl Scouts

Girls in Kindergarten & First Grade
Daisy Girl Scouts have fun with new friends and develop social skills. Girls learn the Girl Scout Promise and Law, enjoy arts and crafts, sing songs, play games and participate in simple but meaningful community service projects. Daisy Girl Scouts do not participate in any fundraising or troop money earning activities.

Costs involved include uniform, registration fee, meeting dues, and possible extra activities. Meeting schedule to be determined by Troop Leaders.

Brownie Girl Scouts

Girls in Grades 2 – 3
Having fun with friends and family is a major component of the Brownie Girl Scout experience, but this level also introduces girls to planning and decision-making. Girls help decide on troop activities and participate in a simple form of troop government. Activities and programs focus on the discovery of different interests including outdoor experiences, music, science, technology, health and safety and community service. Brownie Girl Scouts take day trips and experience overnight camping and help raise money for troop activities by participating in the fall product program and the Girl Scout Cookie program.

Costs involved include uniform, registration fee, meeting dues, supply fee, and possible extra activities. Troops usually meet twice monthly as determined by Troop Leaders.

Junior Girl Scouts

Girls in Grades 4 – 5
Junior Girl Scouts develop individual leadership skills and discover their self-potential as they experience new responsibilities and challenges. At this level, girls fully participate in choosing and planning troop activities. Girls are introduced to budgeting and smart money management through troop activities and participation in the fall product program and the Girl Scout Cookie program. Community service is a major focus at the Junior Girl Scout age level.

Costs involved include uniform, registration fee, meeting dues, supply fee, and possible extra activities. Troop usually meets twice monthly as determined by Troop Leaders.
