Operation Occupation
This career day expo will showcase a variety of occupations for students to consider. Professionals ranging from architects and film producers to fire fighters and veterinarians will engage children in hands-on activities. Many of our guest professionals this year will be Overbrool alumni.

Overbrook Auction & Dinner
The Annual Dinner and Auction is one of Overbrook School’s biggest social gatherings of the year. The date is set for March 31, 2012. A lovely sit down dinner is served and bidding on Big Board items continues until dessert. The grand event is the live auction. Some of the favorites are Principal for the Day, luxurious trips and one-of-a-kind art work. The event will again be at the Loveless Barn.

First Holy Communion
Second-graders will receive their First Holy Communion at the Cathedral of the Incarnation at 10 a.m. April 14.

Spring Musical and Grandparents Day
The Spring Musical will celebrate the OS 75th anniversary. Shows are April 19 at 6 p.m. and April 20th for grandparents. Grandparents visit classrooms following the Friday morning show.

May Crowning
During this special ceremony, the Blessed Virgin Mary is crowned with a wreath of roses and all studetns place flowers at her feet. For the 75th anniversary, former May Crowners will be invited to participate in the procession. The ceremony begins at 6 p.m.

Year-end 75th Anniversary Mass & Reception
The anniversary year will culminate with a special celebration Mass followed by a reception to honor Sister Luke, O.P., for her long-time service to Overbrook School, as well as the Dominican sisters who have served the school so faithfully through the years.
