Detailed job descriptions:

Position: Elementary Teacher Aide

PT/ FT: Full Time

Level: Prekindergarten teacher’s aide (three- and four-year-old classes

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in elementary education with three years of teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of this teaching assistant position is assisting the lead teacher in educating students at the prekindergarten (three- and four-year-old level) in all subject areas with a special emphasis on the acquisition of basic reading and math skills. Experience with Montessori methods is preferred.

Position: Substitute teachers

PT: Part-time flexible hours

Overbook School is seeking individuals who would like to work as substitute teachers with flexible hours. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and it is preferred that they also have some education experience but not required. Certification or experience in K-4 or 5-8 is beneficial. Position: ExtendedCARE

PT/ FT: Part-time afternoons

Qualifications: Job responsibilities include but are not limited to, supervising outdoor play activities, homework room, computer room, reading stories, and helping with indoor games and art projects. Individuals interested in applying need to have a high school diploma, have experience working with young children, be physically active and are required to submit to a background check.
