The Parents’ Club is an association of all the parents of Overbrook School as well as to foster community between the Overbrook students, faculty, and parents. The club’s purpose is to coordinate and assist in the fundraising events for the benefit of Overbrook School. The Parents’ Club works closely with the Administration and the Executive Council to obtain fundraising goals. The monies from these fundraisers helps provide teacher’s Wish List items, tuition assistance, capital improvements and other miscellaneous requests presented to the Executive Council. The three major fundraisers sponsored by the Parents Club are: Fun Run, Overbrook Basketball Classic and the annual auction and dinner.
The Parents’ Club is guided by the executive council and the principal of Overbrook School. The group consists of at least 15 members who are the parents of Overbrook students. Executive council members serve a three year term. Members of the executive council are required to take an active role in the fundraising projects, assist in the development programs offered by the council and approve the use of funds.
