Band

Students in 5th–6th grade have the option to explore their instrumental talents by joining the OCS Band. Through rehearsals and performances, students develop musical skills, teamwork, and confidence while sharing their love of music with the community.

Performance Opportunities

Advent Family Mass

Each year, our school community gathers in joyful anticipation of Christ’s coming at our Advent Family Mass. This beautiful liturgy brings together students, families, faculty, and staff in prayer and song as we enter the season of hope.

Our music program plays a central role in this celebration. Students help lead the congregation in traditional Advent hymns, psalms, and responses, preparing hearts to welcome the Light of the World. Through their voices, our young musicians learn that sacred music is not only an art, but a gift offered back to God.

Christmas Concert

The Christmas Concert brings together our school community to celebrate the joy and wonder of the season.

The concert highlights the growth, confidence, and musical skills our students develop in the classroom, while giving them the opportunity to shine in front of family and friends. It’s a warm and memorable evening that showcases the creativity and hard work of our young performers and our dedicated music faculty.

Spring Musical

From rehearsals to opening night, the Spring Musical provides students with a chance to build confidence, perform for their community, and experience the joy of live theater. Families, friends, and classmates gather to enjoy an evening of entertainment, laughter, and celebration of the arts.

At Overbrook, the Spring Musical is more than a performance—it’s an opportunity for students to shine, grow, and create lasting memories.
