Are you a Roman Catholic school?

Yes. Overbrook is an independent Catholic school owned and operated by the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia Congregation in Nashville. The school is a member of the National Catholic Education Association. Religion classes teach the Roman Catholic catechesis and church doctrine.

Is Overbrook a part of the Diocese of Nashville?

No. Overbrook is privately owned and is not a part of the diocese.

What are the school hours? And is after school care available?

Normal school hours are 7:45 a.m. – 2:50 p.m. Monday through Friday. The prekindergarten follows a different schedule with flexible dismissal times; read more here. After school care (The Overbrook ExtendedCARE Program) is available until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday with options for prekindergarten beginning at 11:20 a.m.

Is there Mass at Overbrook?

The student body attends Mass in the gym every Friday morning at 8 a.m. Parents and families are welcome to attend. There is also daily Mass on The Dominican Campus during the school year. Every Tuesday morning, there is Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the Overbrook Chapel from 7:30-8:30 a.m. Finally, there is schoolwide Adoration every First Friday of the month.
