Overbrook School in the News ...
The Overbrook track team boys and girls finished first in the Nashville Youth Athletic league's spring season beating out 13 other boy teams and 20 other girl teams in the championship meet during its inaugural season.
Caroline Perri (pictured above) placed first overall in the 100 and 800 for the second and third-grade division. Michael LeClair won first place overall in the 1600 and 800 for the sixth to eighth-grade division. The team earned seven second-place finishes and eight third-place finishes.
"We had many athletes place in the top in numerous events," said Athletic Director Anthony Simpson, who coaches the team he started this year. "Everyone practiced really hard this year and there was vast improvement throughout the year. It was a fantastic first year for the program, and I believe that it will only grow next year."

(4-5 grade) 3rd in the 800- Jack Farringer
