After School
Overbrook Catholic School offers a variety of non-athletic after school programs that nurture creativity, support academic growth, and encourage students to explore the gifts God has given them.
To further support our families, OCS offers ExtendedCARE, an after-school program that provides a safe, joyful, and faith-filled environment for every child. Students enjoy a loving, peaceful “home-away-from-home” atmosphere, complete with an afternoon snack, time for quiet homework, outdoor play, and engaging activities like board games. The program is flexible and designed to meet the needs of each student, giving families peace of mind during the after-school hours.

St. Cecilia's Dance Academy
St. Cecilia Dance Academy (SCDA) is a program for girls beginning at age 18 months. SCDA provides dancers in the Nashville area with excellent training in dance techniques, communication, and artistry. Through their introduction to and immersion in the universal language of dance, girls learn to express their God-given beauty and dignity through their growing bodies. Dance also helps students develop virtues like discipline, grace, perseverance, healthy self-expression, resilience, critical thinking, a broad sense of musicality, and collaboration skills crucial for a well-lived life. Most importantly, the fine arts—and dance in a particular way—open young people up to all that is good, true, and beautiful as they use their bodies, minds, and talents to glorify God.
St. Cecilia's Music Conservatory
The St. Cecilia Academy Conservatory of Music continues a long tradition of excellence in music under the patronage of Saint Cecilia herself, the patroness of music. Our Conservatory of Music studios are open to elementary and high school students from across the Dominican campus and surrounding areas. Our commitment to all students and families is to provide excellent training by highly competent musicians and instructors who have studied and performed with their own instruments for decades! In addition, each teacher has pursued continuing education in the best pedagogical practices worldwide and across the centuries.
