Admissions Process

At Overbrook Catholic School, we understand that looking for a new school can be both exciting and stressful. Just as we nurture and support our students at OCS, we are here to support you during this process. For this reason, we do our best to take a personal approach in getting to know each family and to fully understand the needs and interests of the child applying. We recommend that you fill out the inquiry form and call our admissions office so that we can get to know you and walk you through the process. Also, please review the Important Application Dates (below) to review the admissions timeline at Overbrook Catholic School. We look forward to getting to know your family and sharing how we are able to provide a rigorous and hands-on approach to learning, within a community marked by faith, grace, and friendship.

Important Application Deadlines

  • To find out more about Overbrook Catholic School, be sure to sign up for a Lunch and Learn
  • Please contact the admissions department with any questions or to set up a private tour!
  • Kindergarten - Grade 6 applicant materials are due by February 12, 2024
  • Upon application submission, the admissions department will reach out to schedule a family interview
  • Admission decisions for Kindergarten - Grade 6 will be posted on March 2, 2024
  • All contracts are due by March 6, 2024

Overbrook Catholic School will accept applications on a rolling basis as space allows throughout the year.

  • Preschool

    Applicants must be of appropriate age and fully toilet trained prior to August 15, 2024 to be eligible for admission. Catholics, siblings, and alumni are given priority when applying. 

    We offer tours weekly and host various Preschool Preview days throughout the year. Please contact the admissions office to schedule a tour or to sign up for one of the Preview Days.
      • Preschool applicant materials are due by January 19, 2024

    • Kindergarten Dates

      Applicants must be of appropriate age prior to August 15, 2023 to be eligible for admission. Catholics, siblings, and alumni are given priority when applying. 
       
      We offer tours weekly and host various Kindergarten Preview days throughout the year. Please contact the admissions office to schedule a tour or to sign up for one of the Preview Days.
      • Kindergarten - Grade 6 applicant materials are due by February 12, 2024
      • Admission decisions for Kindergarten - Grade 6 will be posted on March 2, 2024
      • All contracts are due by March 6, 2024

    • 1st-6th Grade Dates

      Shadow days are a required part of the application process. After applying, please contact the admissions office to set up a shadow day. 
      • Kindergarten - Grade 6 applicant materials are due by February 12, 2024
      • Admission decisions for Kindergarten - Grade 6 will be posted on March 2, 2024
      • All contracts are due by March 6, 2024
    Fifth- and sixth-grade applicants are also required to take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). Registration is available online at https://iseeonline.erblearn.org/
