SUMMER 2023

Early Registration for 2023 opens on January 15, 2023, for current and incoming Overbrook Catholic School families.

Beginning February 1, 2023 registration will open to the public.

Camp Overbrook is a co-ed summer camp offering a dedicated program for 3-year-old – Rising Grade 1 campers. We are committed to personalized and engaging experiences, with small groups and exceptional staff from our very own OCS employees.

  • Lunch and Allergy Information

    Campers should bring a sack lunch and water bottle. Campers will eat together and be supervised by camp staff. 


    Please inform Camp Overbrook of any food allergies by accurately completing the registration medical form. We maintain an allergy-sensitive environment and provide allergy-free snacks to those who request them. If a camper has a tree nut/peanut allergy, families will be notified to pack tree nut/peanut free lunches for that session. If there is a child with another life-threatening allergy, please contact the Camp Director to discuss appropriate care. 
  • P3-Grade 1 Explorers

    The 3-year-old to Rising Grade 1 program provides a structured environment filled with summer fun. Days are designed with theme-based activities, including guest visitors, STEM projects, art, and imagination play.

    *The program also offers a “Year-Round” experience for our incoming and current OCS families.
  • Before- and After-Care

    Camp Overbrook is happy to offer before- and after-care from 7:30-9 am and 3-5 pm. Campers will enjoy an afternoon snack, play games, and participate in various activities. The cost is $10 per day (before or after), $50 per week (before or after), $100 for both, and $15 for last-minute drop-ins. 
  • A Typical Day at Camp

    • 7:30 am – Before-care available as needed
    • 8:45 am – Campers arrive and settle in, setting their items in their cubbies and greeting their counselors and friends
    • 9:00 am – Circle Time: campers gather for a short story or activity and to share and learn the activities for the day
    • 9:15 am – Campers participate in themed project for the week
    • 10:00 am – Healthy snack is provided in a family-style gathering
    • 10:15 am – Special guest/activity
    • 11:00 am – Outdoor Play/Beyond the Brook Farm
    • 11:30 am – Themed project
    • 12:00 pm – Lunch
    • 12:45 -1:00 pm – Half-day pick-up / nap and rest period for full-day campers
    • 1:00 - 2:30 pm – Nap and rest time 
    • 2:30 - 3:00 pm – Outdoor play and regular pick-up for full-day campers
    • 3:00 - 5:00 - After-care available as needed
    *Campers must be three years old by June 1, 2023. Each small group will be led by an experienced Overbrook Catholic School teacher as the lead counselor with a full-time assistant. Sections will not exceed 14 campers.

  • June 5 - 9: Mad Science

    Mad Science camp offers hands-on discovery and exploration of scientific basics. Your child will be able to touch, see, hear, and smell what science is really all about! Campers create a variety of take-home projects while exploring how science affects the world around us.
  • June 12 - 16: Animal Kingdom

    If your camper loves animals, they will love this camp. Animal lovers will get a closer look at the animals that inhabit our world through games, hands-on activities, and crafts. Campers will get some up-close and personal time with some of the native animals that live on and around our beautiful campus. Whether your child is just beginning to burrow into the world of animals or is an animal expert, this is the purr-fect camp for them.
  • June 19 - 23: ARTrageous

    Your little Picassos will experiment with a variety of art mediums such as paint, sculpture, oil pastels, jewelry making, tye-dye, and more! Your camper is sure to have an excellent experience learning about the masters too - Picasso, Van Gogh, Kandinski, O'Keefe, and Pollock! At camp ARTrageous you'll find the music is jammin', the ideas flowing, and artists are creating!
  • June 26 - 30: Favorite Characters Come to Camp

    Once upon a time, a group of magical campers joined us for a week of fictional fun! Together we will make magic potions, build a fort against a mysterious mythical creature, and write stories about our own fantastical adventures. We may even spy a princess or superhero or two! 
     
  • July 10 - 14: Camp Carnival

    Are your kiddos ready for a week full of carnival fun? If you answered "yes," then Camp Carnival is for them! Campers will participate in carnival classics including bean bag toss, guessing games, rubber ducky races in the creek, and many more! This week will be full of engaging science experiments, crafts, and activities to give campers the experience of a carnival right here at Camp Overbrook.
  • July 17 - 21: Happy Holidays

    What's your favorite holiday? We bet it will be part of the line-up for our Happy Holidays week. We'll travel through an entire calendar year of holidays and celebrations from all around the world, celebrating everything from the Fourth to Valentine's Day to Christmas!
  • July 24 - 28: All Sports Camp

    It's all about teamwork and outlandish challenges in this camper-favorite week! Bring your highest level of team spirit and go all out participating in your favorite sports!


 

Camp Overbrook 2023

  • Times: 9 am -1 pm for half-day; 9 am - 3 pm for full-day
  • Cost: $250 per week for half-day; $350 per week for full-day; Multi-sibling discounts available
  • Before- and after-care available - $50 per week for before or after-care, $100 for both
