Encountering the wisdom and love of God through His creation, students participate in Beyond the Brook farm during their STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) class. Students in preschool through sixth-grade take part in planting, harvesting, and observing the care of the animals who call Beyond the Brook home. Various plants like cucumbers, pumpkins, watermelons, and tomatoes grow alongside sheep, chickens, bunnies, and two cats. Spices such as thyme, oregano, and mint are harvested seasonally by the Overbrook Catholic School community. Thanks to an active volunteer community, Beyond the Brook is well cared for when school is not in session!
